Funding Applications 2023/2024
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
The Getting Ready to Learn application process for 2023-24 is now open to all DE funded pre-schools, including pre-school playgroups, nursery schools and units (including special schools) and reception classes.
It is a two-stage application process:
Stage 1: Complete a short online Stage 1 application.

This is a simple Microsoft Forms application, however, if you would prefer to complete a paper version, please email grtl@eani.org.uk and we will send you a printable version.

If you are more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you may be entitled to get help to buy healthy food and milk.
If you are eligible, you'll be sent a Healthy Start card with money on it that you can use in some UK shops. You'll get money added onto your Healthy Start card every 4 weeks.
You can use your card to buy:
- plain liquid cow's milk
- fresh, frozen, and tinned fruit and vegetable
- fresh, dried and tinned pulses
- infant formula milk based on cow's milk
